A new website showing improvements to roads and pavements throughout Nottinghamshire has been launched. The new site, which can be found at nottshighways.co.uk, allows residents and road users to search across the county to find where resurfacing and patching schemes have taken place.It shows details of the works and in most cases, an image of the completed works.

The B6009 Watnall Road, Hucknall has reopened to residents and road users following flooding from recent storms which closed the road. The road, which operates as a main link between Hucknall and Watnall, was reopened today after water levels receded enough to allow machinery to access the entrance to a culverted watercourse that runs beneath the road.
